It is often said that children need boundaries and parents should use specific educational methods. But does it work? When we stick to the theory like a script, we take away the chance for real relationships.
Children do not need imposed rules - they need to be noticed, a conversation in which their needs and emotions are taken seriously. Instead of following ready-made patterns, it is better to observe what is actually happening in relationships and react to what is real.
